A few highlights from yesterday in the garden during the rain
I visited my praying mantis mate this morning and it seems the pitcher plants have competition! It was quite gross watching it eat the fly 🪰 but… I dunno, circle of life 🤷🏼♂️

Plants that eat insects are amazing!
I sat watching these bees🐝🐝 dice with death (and ready to rescue) while sipping some juicy nectar from above the mouth of the pitcher! One fell in and managed to fly out again!!
This brilliant VFT has a big mutant 🧟♂️ trap.

The best camera for taking photos is the one you have on you! The iPhone allows you to take snaps while recording video and I use it often, especially in lower light conditions. Here's how!

I gave some of my Sarracenia pururea (and hybrids) a tidy up the other day. They look so good glowing in the afternoon sun!
